Common Questions About L.I.F.E. Biofeedback

If you’re new to L.I.F.E. Biofeedback, you probably have a few questions. These are some of the ones I hear most often.

What is L.I.F.E. Biofeedback?
L.I.F.E. Biofeedback is a non-invasive, FDA-approved biofeedback technology that evaluates patterns of stress within the body and provides individualized corrective frequency feedback designed to support relaxation, balance, and overall wellness.

What can I expect during an in-person session?
During an in-person session, you’ll relax while wearing a few non-invasive wrist and ankle harnesses that connect back to the system. These allow the L.I.F.E. System to incorporate galvanic skin response while I work through the areas showing the greatest stress.

The system can also be used without the harnesses through Metaspace, but the harnessed session allows for that added layer of direct skin-response feedback, (3-5% difference in efficacy).

Is it painful?
No. L.I.F.E. Biofeedback is designed to be gentle and non-invasive. Most people simply relax during the session. Occasionally, someone may briefly notice tension, tingling, warmth, or increased awareness in an area being worked, but experiences vary from person to person.

What kinds of concerns do people use it for?
Clients often choose L.I.F.E. Biofeedback for support with things such as stress, sleep, emotions, pain relief, wound healing, hormone imbalance, discomfort, digestion, performance, headaches, energy, and overall wellness.

Rather than diagnosing disease, the focus is on identifying patterns of stress and helping support the body as it works toward better balance and regulation.

How do remote or Metaspace sessions work?
The easiest way I explain Metaspace is to compare it to a cell phone connection. Every phone has its own unique number. When you dial that number, you connect to that specific phone and maintain that connection even though the person may be miles away.

Metaspace is designed around a similar concept. Instead of a phone number, the system uses an individual’s bio-signature as the identifying reference for the session. Once that person or animal is entered into Metaspace, I can work with their session remotely without them being physically connected to the harnesses or even being in the same location.

I like this analogy because it makes the idea much easier to picture: you do not have to physically touch a cell phone tower to receive a call, and Metaspace does not require you to be physically attached to the L.I.F.E. System for the session to be performed.

This is especially convenient for clients who live farther away, have busy schedules, or want sessions for horses, dogs, or other animals without transporting them.

***The “cell signal” comparison is simply an analogy for how I explain the Metaspace concept; it is not meant to suggest that Metaspace literally operates through cellular technology.

Do I get better results being hooked up to the system versus remotely?
The biggest difference is that an in-person session can incorporate galvanic skin response through the harnesses, while remote Metaspace sessions do not require physical connection.

In my own practice, I use Metaspace extensively with myself, my family, my animals, and my clients. Many people report noticing very similar effects whether their session is performed in person or remotely, although every individual and every session can respond differently.

Do I need to understand all of this before I book?
Not at all. You don’t have to understand the technology to benefit from a session. Choose the option that best fits your goals, and I’ll guide you through the rest.

Still unsure which session is right for you?
That’s completely okay. Whether you choose a Pick 3, Deep Dive, or Animal Session, we can focus the session around the areas that matter most to you.

L.I.F.E. Biofeedback is intended for stress reduction and wellness support and is not a substitute for appropriate medical or veterinary care.
